Pilates classes
Pilates classes are held every Monday from 5:30-6:30 pm, and 6:30-7:30 pm in the Memorial hall.
The classes are kept small, personal and fun - a maximum of 14 people - and are suitable for men and women.
The classes are run by Alexis Jones, a Chartered physiotherapist working in the NHS with specialist training in Pilates.
Pilates develops your core strength to retrain and recondition the body, using exercises that incorporate recent research on spinal instability and muscle imbalance. It is an excellent way both to prevent and reduce back, neck and shoulder pain as well as improving spinal mobility, flexibility, postural awareness, balance and general well being.
