Bampton Recreational Field

The playing field opposite the old school is available for use by the residents and visitors to the area and is currently used for a variety of leisure and sporting activities.  Children's football matches are regularly held, as well as five-a-side adult matches.  In 2015 an exercise "Trim Trail" was provided.

Bampton Recreational Field Group acquired the ex school playing field in 2010 with the aid of grant funding, together with strong financial support from the local community.

All animals, especially dogs, are specifically banned from entry, as well as motor cycles and bicycles.
Dog mess is not only unpleasant, but presents a known risk to eyesight and health, especially for children.
We would be grateful if dog owners exercise their pets elsewhere.
